This is a Wayne Dalton Torquemaster residential garage door spring tube bracket (part# 142026) which connects the horizontal spring shaft to the door header for center support.
*****If you remove your Torquemaster Idrive operator, and replace it with a trolley/rail style operator, on a double car garage door, you will need to install this spring tube bracket to support the center of the torquemaster door spring tube, so that it will not sag & "whip" when the door is travelling.*****
