My Craftsman Garage Door Opener broke after  six years of operation. The gear driving the chain  came off the shaft. I panicked after searching the "Sears" Parts Online. Sears showed the part for my Model HOWEVER they said the part was no longer Manufactured.!! I thought "Oh Sh*t, now what do I do.?"

BUT, after searching for the Model # I stumbled onto STAR Doors. I emailed them, asking if they had my part,  and they came right back to me. Assuring me the part I asked about works with my Model # Opener.

They delivered the Part quickly and allowed me to get back in business in no time at all. I have their name and number filed away for the next emergency. Definitely count on them to support your needs.!!

Hard to find parts with step by step instructions.  Got my garage door opener fixed and running again.  The kit where you just replace the entire vertical gear assembly is probably the easiest to use.

The   LiftMaster® 41C4220A Gear & Sprocket Assembly was exactly what I needed to get my very old Sears 139.53603 opener working again.
I emailed Star Door Parts about my specific model # (which is not listed on the website) and received a prompt, courteous reply that this was the kit I should use.  It arrived sooner than expected, the repair instructions were good and everything fit perfectly. At first I was worried that the tube of white grease was a little small but it turned out to be more than enough for all the internal gears.
I have no regrets at all about purchasing this kit from Star Door Parts.

the service was excellent.  questions were answered promptly and as a result the parts were the right ones.  the only problem was the shipping cost was more than the parts cost.  I guess that cant be helped.

Was fairly certain of the part needed but emailed photos of damaged part to make sure I was ordering correctly.
Tim emailed me back the same day with confirmation and the part was rec'd by end of week.
