The Genie GSTB-BX (37220R) Safe-T-Beam backwards-compatible photo eye sensors work with all Genie garage door opener models.  These sensors replace part numbers 35048R and 35049R.

The metal Safety T Beam sensor mounting brackets are currently not available as a service part.

Installation Tips:
If the original Genie sensors for your garage door opener have plug-in jacks, first cut off each plug and separate the two strand wires. Next, screw each wire into one of the two terminals on the back of the new sensor. If the old sensor you are replacing has 1 plug and the other sensor has 2 plugs, just follow this same procedure for the one plug sensor by separating the wires by color. For the 2 plug sensor, simply cut the plugs and connect the like color wires. Finally, connect one set of the same colored wires to one terminal and the other set of the same colored wires to the other terminal.

NOTE: For those Genie garage door opener systems that have sensors attached screws on the motor head terminal strip - if the motor head has either 3 or 6 terminals on the terminal strip, use terminals 2 and 3; if the motor head has a four position terminal strip, then use terminals 3 and 4.
