The Model ACT-34B 4-Channel Block Coded mini key ring transmitter is designed for use with Linear's access control products. The ACT-34B transmitter is small enough (Size: 1.25" W x 2.25" H x 0.48" D) to be carried on a key ring in a pocket or purse. and is a four-channel model that sends a unique signal from each of its four buttons. It is ideal for applications that require access control for both entry and exit, as well as when multiple remote control functions are needed, such as gate and multiple garage door access. A unique 10-second time-out feature prevents the system from being shut down by a single transmitter transmitting continuously.

The transmitter is MegaCode format (meaning that each transmitter is factory pre-programmed with one of over 1,000,000 codes) essentially eliminating the possibility of code duplication. Since the receiver "learns" each unique code, unauthorized persons cannot gain access to the system by reprogramming your transmitter. Block coded transmitters are factory programmed to a sequential series of transmitter ID codes. This coding combination represents the same level of security as a traditional Wiegand card. When used with a Linear access controller, transmitters can be locally or remotely programmed into memory by entering the first and last codes of the block into the system. Facility codes can also be selected for additional system customization.

Programming the ACT-34B transmitter into system memory is as simple as entering the first and last number of the coding block into the controller. Based on the type of controller, transmitters can be enrolled either by user-friendly programming software or manually at the controller keypad.
