This door control is NOT compatible with Security+ 2.0® models that feature a yellow learn button. Check the manual or replacement parts diagram for specific part information before ordering to ensure compatibility.

I ordered two lighted garage door activation buttons to replace the unlighted buttons, one of which had broken.  After installing the buttons one appeared not to work.  Upon requesting a replacement I was contacted by Tim Sweeney who requested the name and model of the garage door openers.  He then did some research on the subject and determined that the use of lighted switches might have been causing the problem with the 30 year old openers.  He suggested some different, unlighted switches, and the problem went away.  All that support for a $14.00 purchase... Outstanding!

Removed the old button and installed the new button and tested the door to verify it goes up/down.New button works flawlessly!
